NANO is a lightweight and powerful text editor. It's very configurable and fairly straign forward. I like that. One downfall to NANO is large files. It gets fairly sluggish with files over a few MB.

The main config file for NANO is /etc/nanorc. This file links a slew of files from... /var/share/nano/ directory.

• Exit - Ctrl + X - Exit (prompt to save if not saved)
• Find - Ctrl + W - Find a string in a file
• Read - Ctrl + R - Read an external file into the current session
• Save - Ctrl + O - Write out the file to disk (Save)
